--------------------------- Recreational Therapist in the News! Click here to read an article in the Manchester Union-Leader quoting NETRA's own Pam Ayotte. Pam touts the Wii video game as a tool in rehabilitation. ---------------------------
When you get your NCTRC renewal forms to fill out, you may have seen a box that can be checked off to limit what mail you receive from NCTRC (and restrict it to NCTRC business). Many of you may have done this to avoid getting mail from vendors who purchase the NCTRC mailing labels. This can cause a problem, however, because NETRA purchases the NCTRC labels to send out conference brochures. The Office of Licensed Allied Health Professionals in NH has also purchased those labels, to make contact with CTRSs in New England and give up to date RT Licensure information. How big of an impact could this have on communication? When NCTRC was contacted this week to inquire about mailing labels, we were told that there are 118 CTRSs in NH, but labels can only be purchased for 74 people, because the other 44 have opted out of having their labels sold. This seems like important information for members to have. If you live or work in NH, or are interested in licensure and have opted out of mailings with NCTRC, you can contact the Office of Licensed Allied Health Professionals in Concord NH at 603-271-8389 and give them your contact information so that you will receive mailings from the office related to RT Licensure in NH. ---------------------------
